Subwoofer cable with ground wire and RCA – RCA connectors . The Audioquest Black Lab uses solid long copper (LGC) conductors that eliminate the distortion created by the interaction of the fibers with each other . The copper used delivers a clearer and smoother sound than regular OFHC copper cables because it contains fewer transitions within the material, less dirt and quite clearly performs better . Polyethylene foam filled with air is used to insulate the conductors , because air absorbs almost no energy and polyethylene is low- loss and favorable in terms of distortion . The result is noticeably less distorted sound than when used common materials.
