E Series – A Goal of Neutrality

The goal for the Connect it E series cables was to create transparent-sounding audiophile cables at a reasonable price. In short, these are cables that get out of the way. We focused on quality core materials like a high-purity copper conductors & effective shielding for a lossless transmission of a given audio signal. All E Series connectors (including our True Balanced mini XLR plugs) feature gold-plated brass connectors to ensure ideal & long-lasting conductivity. The line & phono cables (excluding the True Balanced ones) are semi-symmetrical. This means that the shielding is only connected to the signal at one end, therefore the end marked with yellow tags should be connected to the signal-receiving device. This is because Pro-Ject turntables (the ‘tables without built-in preamps) are configured with balanced RCA outputs.
