The Rotel CD11 Tribute CD player is based on the CD11 model . The difference is in the power supply circuits, the D/A converter circuits , and the emphasis is placed on limiting resonance and ambient noise . The result of the changes is a better spatial rendering, greater emphasis on detail, accuracy and an overall more realistic sound. Design teams Rotel took the opportunity to team up with audio legend Ken Ishiwata of Marantz to create an even more powerful model. With over 40 years of audio engineering experience , Ken’s collaboration with Rotel has created something truly special . So Rotel decided to make an edition Tribute will honor his memory. The CD11 Tribute features major changes to the power supply, DAC circuitry and precise component selection in the audio signal path to deliver an increased sense of space, improved accuracy, detail and audio fidelity .
